CAPI is short for Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing, a surveying technique that uses a computer-based questionnaire. As an alternative to paper questionnaires, CAPI allows the interviewer to customize the survey, so that respondents answer questions only about subjects they are familiar with and receive questions in a random order to avoid biases.

CAPI Facility

CPResearch CAPI could work questionnaires out with comprehensive logics just like the CATI, what’s more, it could be used in many kinds of locations, the shopping mall, forum and any other public places, if only the respondents could access computer.

For Example, in the Central Location Test, with peer to peer networking, it could manage the questionnaire, control quota and manage the database, without the database server. For the face to face interview, the questionnaire could be saved into a field disk, even the field disk could be emailed to the respondents as the files are small. Respondents could see the questionnaire on their own desktop and conduct the interview by themselves.

   CPResearch CAPI’s advantages:

1) Mutimedia supported

2) Greater cooperation

3) Higher completion rates

4) More complete and comprehensive answers

5) Greater willingness to participate in the future

6) Lower cost to research supplier

7) Connected to Conjoint Analysis field disk
